BI Business Analyst

My Client, A Global Satellite Network Organisation are looking for a Data Business Analyst who is able to understand BI/Analytics and Data requirements, all aligned within agile delivery.

Looking for:

1) Business Analysis Skills

• Strong communication skills, interacting with stakeholders (development team, finance team, core analyst teams)
• Strong requirement gathering skills - want to see someone who is able to go and get the answers rather than wait for the answer to come to them
• Must be comfortable communicating- bridging that gap between the technical and business parts

2) Data Analysis Skills

• Data Analysis/Data Analytics
• Data Warehousing and BI implementation experience
• Implementation skills across Data Warehousing, BI Analytics or Reporting
• Technical skills - Oracle Databases, SQL Queries - need to be comfortable being tasked with a technical activity
• This person may come from a oracle or sql reporting background
• Advantageous if they have cloud architecture skills (Hadoop or Google Analytics)

3) Agile Delivery Skills

• Need to have experience working within Agile Scrum Methodology (involved in user stories, future driven impacts and product backlogs)
• Agile Delivery - they are using Jira and Confluence
• No real documentation process/structure currently, someone who is comfortable with documentation project reports and requirements
