Purpose of Job: To provide accurate, efficient and timely legal advice to all business departments (throughout Europe) Specific Job Responsibilities: Prepares & helps with the negotiation of all types of agreements handled by the company (CDA, distribution agreements, license and supply agreements, contract manufacturing agreements, letters of intent, etc.) Prepares & updates template agreements for internal perusal Produces legal advice to commercial departments across all business units regarding disputes with clients /providers Management of corporate legal documentation of European subsidiaries Manages and maintains internal legal databases. Produces agreements from standard templates and drafts ad hoc agreements and letters where necessary Follows Accords policies and procedures Delivers work to deadlines set Works efficiently and accurately, consistently producing high quality work Keeps all relevant parties informed of progress on tasks as appropriate Effectively organises and prioritises workload Relevant Skills & Experience: Clearly list essential and desirable functional/technical skills or experience required to execute the job responsibilities. Those listed as essential will form part of the key criteria for selecting candidates for the role Essential Able to demonstrate solid legal drafting skills Skilled in the use of Word and Excel to intermediate level Good verbal communications and interpersonal skills Good written communication skills and ability to communicate complex terminology clearly to wide/diverse audience Able to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy Excellent attention to detail Desirable Familiar with the use of legal databases Relevant Functional/Technical Skills or Industry Experience Experience as commercial lawyer (in-house lawyer in a multinational company / associate in medium-large law firm with multinational clients). Pharma industry would be ideal with good technical understanding of different functions within a heavily regulated industry (Regulatory, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain etc.) M&A experience (desirable) Relevant Professional / Educational Background: Essential Education Law Degree LLM (desirable) Solicitor Those listed as essential will form part of the key criteria for selecting candidates for the role.
