We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join this software company based in London. The company has been creating bespoke SAAS workforce management solutions for the last 18 years and is now expanding the PHP development team due to rapid growth.
The development team use a Test-Driven Development approach to software delivery and include all levels of automated tests within the development pipeline. So, you will be comfortable writing optimised and testable code as well as automating UI and js tests.
Experience required:
- Solid PHP Development within a Laravel or Symfony framework
- Good experience with Unit testing PHPUnit
- Knowledge and experience with Eloquent/ ORMs and Migrations
- Hands-on experience with Design Patterns and APIs
- Collaborative approach with other developers - ability to review each other's code & give and receive constructive feedback
- Good knowledge of git workflows and comfortable using advanced git command line tools
- Previous experience with writing javascript code and using other front-end technologies like ES6, webpack, and react js
- MySQL / MariaDB
- Hands-on experience working with Lean/Agile software development practices
- A proven history of delivering fully automated tests for web applications or SaaS platforms
Ideally, we are looking for someone with a few years commercial experience but all levels considered.
