Position: Support Worker
Location: Surrey
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: GBP18,794

About the role:

As a Support Worker you will support and empower both men and women fleeing domestic abuse with a range of life skills enabling them to live independently in a safe environment.

Duties will include preparing accommodation for new admissions, promote and encourage resident participation, consultation, training and feedback and work with the team and in partnership with key external agencies to meet the contractual requirements of stakeholders

You will comply with health and safety procedures and maintain accurate records within set targets.

As part of this role you will be required to carry out on call duties as required.

About you:

To be considered for this role you will have proven experience of working with vulnerable adults and of working with colleagues and other agencies to ensure service users achieve positive outcomes.

You will be a highly motivated individual dedicated to supporting vulnerable people. You will be flexible, caring, creative and a team player dedicated to providing the highest quality of support in a positive and dynamic environment.

You will have good communication skills along with a good level of written and spoken English.
