Our client is one of the largest registered providers of social housing based solely in the North West of England with 35,000 homes across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside and Lancashire.

They currently comprise of five member organisations committed to the regeneration and sustainability of their region; united by a common purpose – to make a positive difference in the communities they serve

As part of a continued focus on developing and shaping their customer services and supporting their People strategy, they are looking for a looking for a HR Services Team Leader (one post) to join our People Team. 

Reporting to the Head of People, you will develop, implement and manage a high performing first line HR Services Team ensuring accuracy and consistency of advice through regular quality checks.  Providing leadership to the HR Services team, you will manage resources to create an environment that enables continuous improvement and the attainment of performance targets.  You will develop & support the team in being the first point of contact for all initial HR contact, providing effective advice on generic policy and process queries, whilst managing with any escalated queries on policy and process, supporting first line support as required.

You will provide support in all areas of HR Administration including generic HR, Training and Recruitment, whilst managing and maintaining the Corporate Calendar and Policy Review Framework and overseeing the provision of accurate and timely payroll information on a monthly basis to the Payroll Team.

You should have experience of managing teams in a busy HR service environment and of working with a strong emphasis on great customer service.  You should have experience of working to deadlines with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively, with the ability to identify key learning interventions to improve HR processes and interpret/analyse and present data.  You should have excellent communication skills with ability to communicate and collaborate across all levels.  Working towards or attained CPP / CIPD and/or equivalent experience is essential.
