Deputy Team Manager (Autism)
About the role
The Deputy Team Manager will have knowledge of person centred care planning; will support the Team Manager in the day to day management, operation and administration of the home. You will promote a caring environment which provides residents with a high standard of support, meeting person centered needs and ensuring everyone is treated with dignity and respect. You will be required to evaluate and monitor the support delivered checking that all legal requiremwents are met along with high levels expecgted at their residential home.
The Ideal Candidate
- NVQ Level 3 in health and social care/management
- At least 1 years supervisory experience in a relevant care setting within the past 5 years
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Professional supervision experience
- Good communication skills
- Experience in management of challenging behaviour
- Driver ideally - not essential
The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of processes and procedures, be highly organised, and have extensive experience of managing a team and dealing with conflict situations.
Please note this position is offered on a permanent basis working a varied shift pattern of Monday to Friday 37 hours per week. Please note this post will require you to work some evening and weekends for on call provisions.
