Job Elements
·To provide Engineering support to ensure that products are manufactured in the most effective manner.
·Provide the manufacturing engineering support across the business.
·Produce Manufacturing Engineering documentation.
·Analyse and solve problems within production using a range of systematic tools and techniques.
·Support NPI activity through, where applicable, setting up and arranging cells, specifying and selecting tools and equipment and validating agreed processes.
·Undertake projects that address specific issues within production, which will result in an increase in manufacturing efficiency or improve product quality.
The ideal candidate will have:
·Minimum of HNC/HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering.
·Practical Hands-on approach to resolving Engineering problems.
·3 years of relevant experience.
·Understand best Manufacturing Engineering practice and possess the ability to implement the appropriate techniques.
·Electronics manufacturing environment experience.
