The role of Technical Business Analyst:
You will be working on the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure Project aka WLTP. This defines a global harmonized standard for determining the levels of pollutants and CO2 emissions, fuel or energy consumption, and electric range from light- duty vehicles (passenger cars and light commercial vans).
We’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst to shape, drive and aid with delivery of our WLTP goals. Reporting to the Operations Project Manager, you’ll join a project team owning the end-to-end delivery of this vehicle data. Working with internal development and operational teams and external vehicle manufacturers, you’ll confirm the incoming manufacturer data can be accurately mapped and stored within our databases then ensure our external offering of this data is both fit for purpose and fit for use.
Key Accountabilities of the Technical Business Analyst:
- Requirements elicitation, prioritisation and management
- Experience in a wide range of business analyst skills (e.g. use cases, user stories, requirements traceability, process mapping)
- Able to break down complex business problems
- Analyse and document the impacts of changes and business processes for implementation
- Be evidence based during the decision-making process, with strong attention to detail
- Working cross-functionally with business and technology teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to summarise requirements to senior stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a business that is underpinned by all things ‘data’
Why you should work for us?
- Location-wise, we are based across the road from Leeds station
- Our office setting is open plan and we work collaboratively as a team
- Our dress code is smart casual, so you can ditch the work pants, shirt, and tie should you so wish
- To break up the day and to allow time away from your screen we have table football and a pool table in the office, we offer weekly fruit to keep the team healthy!
- Once a month we have an informal ‘’beer and crisps’’ get-together where we catch up on new developments and wins
- We also like to celebrate company success, funding legendary summer and winter parties. Teams also take part in a quarterly incentive which is linked to our performance against financial targets
- There are frequent opportunities internally to learn other areas of the business and move around. Career progression is important to us
