We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the HR Advice Team as a HR Administrator. We'd like you to be part of delivering a high quality HR administration and advice service to our managers and employees.

It is a great time to join Sense; recently relocated to our brand new purpose built Centre - TouchBase Pears which is in easy reach of Birmingham City Centre and conveniently located next door to Selly Oak Train Station.

About the role


Reporting to the HR Advice Manager, you will undertake the full range of Human Resources administration duties. You will be part of a small but busy team responsible for providing professional HR first line advice and administration support to our employees and line managers.

You will be responsible for responding to general HR queries as well as delivering payroll administration including processing starters, leavers, contract changes and providing third party reference requests. Additionally, you will also manage and maintain employee records to ensure they are up to date and accurate. You will have the opportunity to get involved in providing first line advice on employee related issues.

About you

It would be great if you have a HR administration background and experience of a Shared Service setting, although this is not essential. You will possess excellent communication skills and you will be dedicated to providing a professional HR customer orientated service. You will be proficient in word and data processing with proven experience of working in a busy administrative team; ideally from within a HR function.

You will be highly organised and place an emphasis on quality and accuracy. You will be able to build effective working relationships quickly, able to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with others and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
