Our client offers a great working envrionment and are based within the Crown Court, This is a fantastic opportunity to gain or expand experience within the public sector.
The role is temporary and a full time position working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. The assignment is expected to run until the end of October 2018 with the possibility of being extended past this point.
Duties will include but not be limited to
Creating and updating records on an in-house data management system.
Producing letters, notices and orders for court and for service on parties.
Processing correspondence and making referrals to Judges.
Dealing with customer queries either by telephone or face-to-face.
Listing and preparing cases for hearing
Clerking hearings.
Filing, including the transfer of files between different office locations in Nottingham.
Post opening .
General AdHoc office duties
Ideal candidates will have previous admin experience and enjoy working in a busy environment. You will enjoy working to deadlines and part of a busy team
Our client requires the following requirements
Experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook
Experience working within a busy office
Ability to follow instruction and organise own workload
Flexibility and able to work as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
The role is subject to a DBS criminal records check
The pay rate is £7 per hour for the first 12 weeks worked and rises to £9 per hour after this point, benefits include holiday pay, pension scheme and city centre location
