£8.75ph + 15% shift allowance (non-salaried, paid 4-weekly)
Permanent, Full time (39hrs)
Our client are a Devon-based manufacturing company with more than 200 years’ experience and expertise in developing, manufacturing and marketing medicated confectionery and vitamin products.
Their Packing Operatives are responsible for the packaging of products, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met. You will pack the products in accordance with the PIR and complete all relevant paperwork. The principles of safety, quality, delivery and cost are the main focus on a daily basis. Further to this you will ensure that hygiene standards are high and compliant and assist with the control of all materials through the process.
To be successful you will have a good standard of numeracy and literacy, the ability to follow instructions and be able to work well in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of packing processes / equipment would be an advantage, however is not essential but ideally you will have worked in a similar environment.
