Service Controller
My client is a well-established company with an excellent client database, we are looking to recruit a regional Service Controller to run a geographical area of England
The role will include:
• Taking calls for breakdowns/repairs from customers
• Controlling the efficient and effective dispatch of engineers to customer breakdowns
• Logging all call details, noting response times for engineers and updating customers
• Maintain a daily diary of engineer's availability
• Ordering and arranging the dispatch of parts when required
• Producing quotation for repairs
• Updating customers on the progress/completion of jobs
• Efficiently processing paperwork ready for invoicing, ensuring all relevant costs are entered onto the jobs
Skills required
• Computer literate
• Excellent telephone manner
• Organised administration skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team
• Engineering or mechanical knowledge advantageous
Summary
This is a busy and pressurised office environment the ideal candidates should be resilient and able to deal with scheduling field service engineers in an efficient and effective manner as and when the job requirements come in. They must be organised with excellent IT skills and attention to detail is important.
