ICT Technician

Start date: As soon as possible
Contract type: 37 hours per week, whole time
Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm

Freebrough Academy was established in September 2010 and was graded as Good by Ofsted in 2015. No longer requiring a sponsor, Freebrough Academy was fundamental in establishing Teesside Learning Trust, a Multi Academy Trust which was established on 1^st September 2016, comprising of two Primary Academies in Redcar and Cleveland, and two Secondary Academies, Thornaby Academy in Stockton and Freebrough Academy in Redcar and Cleveland. We are at an exciting point in our development as a Trust.

Led by a strong and effective Board of Trustees, Teesside Learning Trust is ambitious for all of our students and is keen to establish itself as a centre of excellence in the North East region. The Academy has an immediate opening for an ICT Technician. The successful candidate will be based at Freebrough Academy but will be part of a wider central ICT team, a team who are committed to offering a first-class ICT service to all our Academies. Travel within the working day may be required within the Stockton and Redcar & Cleveland areas and therefore access to reliable transport is essential for the post.

The successful candidate will be confident to provide advice and support to teachers, staff and students. They will work closely with the Network Manager/IT Systems Administrator and Trust ICT Team to improve and enhance ICT provision in each of the Primary Academies and across the whole Trust.
