Marketing Executive, Abingdon -
Are you a proactive and driven Marketing Executive with at least 1-2 years' experience under your belt? Do you have experience writing engaging copy for use in social media posts, website content and press releases? Are you passionate about an outdoors lifestyle? Then this could be the role for you???
Our hugely successful, innovative and industry-leading client is currently searching for a Marketing Executive to join their busy and growing team in Oxfordshire. This is a broad and varied position which will see you working across the full marketing mix, so prior experience in a broad marketing role is essential. We're also looking for someone with hands-on social media experience, a background working with press contacts to promote products and secure favourable coverage and have excellent copywriting skills. All candidates applying for this role must have a strong interest in outdoor pursuits, or have previous experience working for a company in this industry, including hiking, cycling, mountain biking or outdoor sports.
As Marketing Executive, your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
*Developing a social media strategy that will help to increase the brand's social media following and presence, by creating engaging and targeted social media posts across all platforms
*Monitoring the analytics of social media posts to ensure maximum engagement levels with consumers
*Overseeing PR activities; from writing press releases, to sending out product samples to key journalists and influencers and building and maintaining relationships with press contacts to secure favourable coverage
*Organising the brand's attendance at important trade events and industry exhibitions
*Creating and sourcing marketing collateral and materials
*Updating the company website and ensuring products are merchandised effectively
