Leading the successful property management a Portfolio of Pubs in London. This role will be responsible for analysing and ensuring the ongoing asset maintenance strategy of around 175 sites.

Client Details

My Client are the leading name in the UK Pub world. They are investing heavily in their property team currently to push forward a plan of development across their national portfolio of property. Their portfolio is vast and they have a presence across the UK. They are well known in the industry for developing their teams and promoting through organic growth.


This role will work closely with the Head of Property for this region to lead the successful property management of a large multi faceted portfolio. You will be looking at all areas of the property spectrum to ensure the value of your portfolio is protected or enhanced. You will work with the development teams to allocate and direct capital spend to enhance the current properties. Work Closely with the operational teams to implement a programme of planned preventative maintenance to protect the asset condition. Managing a property budget and appointing key contractors and consultants to assist in the development of your portfolio.

This is an unusual holistic property role, giving you the opportunity to have a real impact in the operational success of the wider business. They key to being a success in this role is Stakeholder engagement, you will be working with diverse characters across all departments in this large company and will be responsible for working with them collaboratively to deliver a seem-less property function.


Ideally coming from a Building Surveying background, you will be driven by providing a first class service and have a real passion for the retail or leisure world, any exposure to the Pub world would be preferable but not essential.

An understanding of the consumer perspective and future trends will help to maintain a successful portfolio. Experience in a property focussed role in a retail or leisure environment will be required for the smooth transition into the role.

Other key requirements are:

Experience of budgetary & financial cost control.
IT Literate.
Independent responsibility for planning and delivery.
Customer focused.
Minimum of HNC in either Building Surveying or Building Construction, or professional qualification such as RICS or CIOB.
