Open to penultimate and final year students (studying for a Masters' or having a gap year), the EY Summer Internship is an opportunity to work on client projects. You'll get world-class training and development, learn from EY experts, build connections and get a clear idea about the right career for you. We have two options, four or six weeks across July and August 2018.
We're right at the heart of the changing world of business and work, leading the way in a world that's being disrupted by technology at an unprecedented rate. Our people come from a huge range of backgrounds, and they ask the better questions that lead to better answers, and work with our clients in better solutions. With a deep understanding of how businesses work, we prompt the disruptive thinking that enables our clients to do better business.
We recruit students based on their strengths, and we offer an incredibly diverse range of paths, roles, and opportunities because doing what you're naturally good at enables you to perform at your best - and most importantly, enjoy it. We also invest in training and development to hone your strengths for use in a global business, and we value your ideas and opinions.
Why the EY Summer Internship?
The paid EY Summer Internship gives you the time you need to get a feel for EY.
Working within one of our four service lines - Assurance, Consulting, Tax or Transactions - you can choose to work with clients that span many UK industry sectors, or you can focus solely on Financial Services clients.

Which areas of EY can I join?
We work across fours service lines, Assurance, Consulting, Tax and Transactions. Within these service lines we have the following business areas you can work within:
Assurance - You need courage and integrity to navigate the complex demands of regulation and business stakeholders.
Actuarial - Have you got what it takes to weigh up major regulatory change, the rise of emerging markets, technological change and an uncertain economy?
Consulting - Our clients are looking for new ways to innovate while they wrestle with complex issues. Can you ask better questions and come up with better answers?
Transactions - Could you advise on strategies to raise, invest, optimise and preserve capital? It needs many kinds of people to make the right decisions, but you'll need nerves for the deal and a head for detail.
