JOB TITLE: Fettler/Steel Grinder (Steel Foundry)
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP10.50 hourly rate - higher rate for overtime
WORKING HOURS: Full time Permanent -early and afternoon shifts- weekly rota-
6am-2pm Monday to Thursday-6am to 11.30am Fridays (weekend overtime as and when)
2pm-10pm Monday to Thursdau-11.30am-5pm Friday (weekend overtime as and when)
THE COMPANY: Our client is the UK's largest manufacturer of steel castings, Specialising in the design and manufacturing of products within a wide range of industries
They are currently recruiting for Fettlers/Steel Grinders (Steel Foundry) at their plant in Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Job Title: Fettler/Steel Grinder (Steel Foundry)-Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Reporting To: Fettling Manager
Department: Heavy Fettling
Post Holder will be working proactively in a team environment to ensure high levels of production and accuracy. Impact positively on process capability and reliability to achieve optimum on time delivery of product.
Key Criteria: Fettler/Steel Grinder (Steel Foundry)-Sheffield, South Yorkshire
You will have experience in a similar role and experience of working within heavy industry in a steel foundry grinding and fettling steel casting
Experience with high cycle grinders and dressing back weld repairs is required
