Programme Director for Insurance Industry- Company Overview The organisation is a Tier 1 Microsoft Gold Partner who are focused on becoming an all-round Business Transformation Consultancy rather than a standard technology implementation partner. They have the financial backing of a larger Global Brand, and have the largest solely Microsoft Dynamics Practice in The UK. The Role/ About You Having successfully recruited Industry Leads for the Public Sector and Housing Industry Towers of the organisation, they are now looking at a Head of Insurance to lead this vertical. This is a tough market due to Insurance companies often set on legacy systems, and the market dominance of platforms such as SAP and Oracle. They believe with the right strategy and IP, there is massive opportunity for Microsoft Dynamics 365 in the industry. This is not a sales role, but by definition you will be working with Project Teams, Technical Teams and Sales Teams to develop a strategy and roadmap to go to market with. You will have the opportunity to 'own' your own Industry Tower and be responsible for it's growth through client relationships built on trust due to your knowledge and understanding of the industry. You will have a long history working in Leadership within Insurance companies , and a deep understanding of the industry. Ideally you will have Lead Teams to deliver CRM and ERP systems into the business- and perhaps understand Technology implementation partners and what external clients need from them. I am looking for END USER experience here, not Consultancy. You will be leading Project Teams to deliver multi-million-pound implementation of Microsoft Dynamics, working with BI and the Transformation & Adoption teams to deliver excellence and ultimately be responsible for the growth of the Insurance Industry Practice. Ideally you will have come from a Project and Programme Management background, and be looking to continue your career in Directorship. There will be elements of business development in this role, compounded by your ability to form excellent business relationships with external Stakeholders. The Strategy As mentioned previously they are approaching the market as a Business Transformation Consultancy, looking at how they can transform external Businesses with the implementation of Microsoft Technology. This sets them apart from a standard Implementation Partner. But what is the strategy behind this? The strategy can be simply split into 3 parts. Industry Knowledge & Credibility They are going to market with specific Industry Knowledge. They have recently set up specific Industry Towers in the organisation, headed up by Industry Leads with a long tenure in their respective fields. They are not necessarily from a Microsoft Technology Implementation background, but have a deep understanding, from an end user perspective, of the pains and pressures of their industries. This builds credibility and demonstrates to the client that they truly understand their organisations. Data Analytics & BI One of the key things clients need and benefit from, is the organisations ability to use BI and Data Analytics technology to understand the characteristics of their businesses. Using tangible data, they can measure the Business strengths, weaknesses and present key areas for Business Improvement. This also helps with gaining buy in, and presents statistical data on how an implementation of Microsoft Dynamics will be key for Business Improvement. Transformation & Adoption The new Transformation & Adoption team are there to go into clients, and help them come to terms with adoption of the new technology. This starts from conception, to implementation, to after-care. They are there to deal with the human elements of any technology implementation; recognising the benefits of the new system and training end users. They employ Change Management methodology to improve the success of the implementations- ultimately improving the quality of service, and further instilling the reputation of a Business Transformation Microsoft Gold Partner. There is a competitive base salary, plus a 20% bonus with the opportunity to double this bonus upon completion of certain criteria to be determined at offer stage.
