An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced SHE Manager / Advisor to join us to cover operations out of our North Lanarkshire office. With the job title and salary reflecting the successful candidates qualifications and experience.

Within this role, you will implement the Company SHE Policy and systems on all Works.  You will monitor compliance with the policy, procedures and systems and will provide support to the operational teams where necessary, reporting non-compliance to Managers.  You will also instil a strong SHEQ culture within all staff and subcontractors working on Mears contracts.

In order to be successful in this position, it is essential that you hold a minimum of the NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or recognised equivalent). You should ideally have practical experience and understanding of SHE issues in a building/construction industry and knowledge of the Social Housing Sector will be beneficial.

You should be an active member of IOSH and either hold or be working towards CMIOSH status.

Additionally, candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and are required to be proficient with MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
