Paralegal - RTA - Road Traffic Accident
Location: Manchester City Center
Type: Permanent
This company is looking for a Personal Injury Litigation Executive to join their office in Manchester City Centre.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Handle a full caseload of RTA litigated matters and Pre-Litigated matter
- Be able to work independently
- Need to demonstrate that they can cope well under pressure
- Be able to build strong relationships with clients
- Meet realistic Quarterly and Monthly targets
Qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience:
- Must have extensive Personal Injury/ Credit Hire experience.
- Ideally have current experience of handling a large caseload of RTA matters
- Have previous experience of using a Case Management System
- Be able to work off a task list
- Have excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and to meet tight deadlines
- Undertake discussions and negotiations with Insured, Insurer and Third Party Solicitors to pursue the rapid and appropriate settlement of cases and the apportionment of costs.
- Timely and accurate maintenance of all case management, billing and management information systems to ensure completeness of records and aid business decision making.
- Dealing with correspondence and telephone calls
- Undertaking periodic reviews of files in line with Client requirements
- Updating reports
- Meeting agreed performance targets
- Have an understanding of case law Pre-action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules
- Proficient IT skills
