Agricultural Workshop Manager - £Competitive Salary – Stalham NR12 – Full Time Permanent.

About us:

We are a family business which has been established on the same site in Stalham, Norfolk, since 1938. The current owners are the eight sons of the founder, six of whom are currently involved in the general day to day running of the business. Over the years, the company has grown and developed into the business you see today. We offer a range of car, agricultural and garden machinery services including new and used sales, servicing and repairs. We also have a garage with full forecourt facilities.

Main responsibilities include:

• Managing team of 9 Ag fitters and day to day running of workshop
• Allocating jobs, preparing job cards,  invoicing
• Applying and enforcing H&S policies both in workshop and yard
• Organising services, repairs - both on and off site- and dealing with emergency call outs
• Ensuring all required machinery parts are ordered and delivered by stores dept, ready for next day
• Preparing new and used machinery for sales team
• Managing warranty claims

Candidates should have:

• Prior experience of workshop management
• Competent computer skills 
• Some engineering knowledge
• Strong organisational skills
