My client are a specialist Hotel and Conference booking agency offering a FREE service to a variety of customers from many different industries. Using your knowledge and expertise you will provide a flexible, reliable service.
Key duties will include:
" Researching venues to find the most suitable for the event based on the clients brief.
" Negotiate the best possible rates while liaising with venues to achieve the client's budgets and requirements.
" Creating event proposals which fit client requirements and presenting proposals by deadline
" Liaising with hotels/venues on a day to day basis to update bookings.
" Maintaining a working relationship with clients and venues
" Planning event aspects, such as venue, seating, dining, and guest list
" Demonstrating to clients strong knowledge of venues and vendor offerings (this will come with time and training) and taking clients on tours of venue possibilities
" Manage contracts between the client & venue.
" Obtain client feedback after the event.
" Planning multiple events at once
" Assisting in answering general telephone enquiries.
" General administration - filing etc
" Attending hotel familiarisation trips.
