This is a fantastic opportunity for a Company Secretary to come and join this small and fast developing business.
The role will be responsible for the efficient administration of the company. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and due to the nature of this industry, must be prepared to work out of regular daytime hours.
As Living Wage Foundation service providers, they strongly believe in their Ethos and payment plan for their members of staff.
They provide a level playing field for all members of their staff by paying a basic hourly rate of £8 inline with the living wage foundation, regardless of level or job title. They reward members of staff for their performance by being entered into the company share scheme.
Depending on your level within the company will depend on the percentage you will be awarded. This allows all members of the company to make a positive impact on the company's progress and reap the rewards for their performance.
Salary for this role is £8 per hour with entry into the profit share scheme, with a current average value of £12,000 per annum.
Duties involve:
- To be point of contact for all company secretary matters 24/7
- Respond to all incoming calls, site visitors, opening and closing of office as required
- Communicate with shareholders
- Organise and prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees and annual general meetings, take minutes
- Oversee company policies and contractual agreements with suppliers and customers
- Compliance with data protection and ensuring the security of the company's legal documents
- Maintain statutory books
- Deal with correspondence, collate information and write reports, ensuring decisions made are communicated to the relevant company stakeholders
- Head of PAYE & payroll, dealing efficiently with pay queries
- Head of accounts monitoring, supervision and implementation
- Maintain and regulate all budgetary requirements
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action
- Liaise with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors.
- Take responsibility for the health and safety of employees and manage matters related to insurance and property
- Monitor the administration of the company's pension scheme
- Oversee and renew insurances
- Manage office space and property as well as deal with personnel administration
