Part Time, Fixed Term – 20 hours per week

They now have some exciting opportunities for Ramp Services Agents to join them at Luton Airport (LTN) to provide the necessary under-wing ground support services to aircrafts.

Loading and unloading baggage, cargo and mail (taking note of any special handling requirements) onto carts and/or dollies and delivering it to the baggage claim area, you will load/unload wheelchairs and child strollers and deliver them to designated locations as required. Driving and operating ground support equipment, you will place chocks and cones around the aircraft and collect and load live animals and dangerous goods onto aircraft.

Complying with all UK/Ireland/EU legislation as well as airport authority and carrier security requirements at all times, you will maintain the highest standards of safety and security at all times.

Physically fit and able to work in a manual environment, repeatedly lifting up to 32kg throughout a shift, you will be flexible to work various shifts and able to speak and understand the English language. With the ability to follow processes and procedures and to travel to the airport at times when public transport isn’t available, you will be willing to work in inclement weather.

With a full driving licence and excellent communication skills, you will thrive on working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience working in an aviation environment would be an advantage.
