Help students flourish at college by enhancing their language skills.

It’s a chance to work with a diverse mix of mature students with English as a second language. We’ll look to you to carry out initial screening and diagnostic assessment, develop learning plans for individual students, and monitor progress, attendance, and punctuality. A confident team player, you’ll also undertake administration to ensure the smooth running of your course and collaborate with colleagues on course materials.

You’ll come to us with a recognised ESOL qualification, such as CELTA or Trinity TESOL, together with a proven track record of developing the ESOL curriculum. A teaching qualification such as the CTLLS (CET), Cert Ed, PGCE or DTLLS (DET) would be desirable. Naturally, you’ll have a commitment to diversity and equality of opportunity with a sympathetic and flexible approach to supporting students to achieve their full potential.

Please note – this role will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure.
