The University for the Creative Arts is looking to appoint a highly motived, efficient and organised candidate to provide executive support to the Vice-Chancellor’s Office.

The Executive Assistant to the Vice Chancellor’s Office is a key role that provides direct executive support to both the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Corporate Resources) and the Assistant Vice-Chancellor; and will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide seamless integrated support to the University’s Leadership Team.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate that has previous experience working in an administrative capacity and the ability to deliver executive support to senior level management. The candidate will be resourceful and proactive to organise their time effectively, possess strong attention to detail and demonstrable excellent written and oral communication skills.

The successful candidate will manage and coordinate a number of complex and evolving diaries, recognising the need to balance conflicting priorities; be clerk to several University committees and working groups and provide general executive administrative support. The post-holder will need to work well within a small team and excel in developing relationships with colleagues across the University. The Vice-Chancellor’s Office is regularly host to visiting dignitaries, academics and business partners; therefore, the post-holder will be expected to present the professionalism of the leadership team and extend hospitality to internal and external visitors as required.

The Executive Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor’s Office will be based at the Farnham Campus with the expectation to travel on occasion to all four University campuses.

The closing date for receipt of applications is 23rd April 2018.
