Joiner - Cabinet Maker Self-employed
Horsham based business has an immediate requirement for an experienced Joiner-Cabinet Maker to join the team.
My client produces top quality bespoke furniture including, bespoke fitted bedrooms, bespoke kitchens, bespoke libraries, bespoke bookcases and much more.
You will be working for clients producing high end bespoke cabinets and undertake associated joinery work.
The business also works with a variety of man-made sheet material including real wood veneers laminates gloss finishes etc.
The ideal candidate will have experience in high end Joinery-cabinet work, have knowledge of woodworking machinery and have a passion for timber manufacturing, and have an eye for detail, working to high standards. The person will make a project from start to finish and then have the opportunity to install it too. There is also the opportunity have use of the workshop to be able to build projects for your own clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong motivated person, with a good work ethic and time management to join our highly skilled workforce.
Your role:
To be able to work from workshop rods and drawings and produce cut sheets
To have a full understanding of Joinery methods and woodworking procedures, setting machines and tools, required for manufacturing
To be able to work as part of a team and communicate with other members of staff
Taking a job from raw timber to finished product
To be committed and hardworking, able to work to deadlines
You will be required to work in the joinery shop and at times on site
Training can also be provided to develop and complement existing skills
