Manufacturing Team Leader

James Cropper plc is growing its business and as a result, we have a number of job vacancies in varied roles across the company.

We are a prestige paper innovator based in the English Lake District, supplying distinct, custom-made paper products to many of the world's leading brands, art galleries and designers. The business is renowned globally for colour expertise, dedicated responses to challenging custom projects and award-winning commitment to the highest standards of sustainability.

Most recently, The Prince of Wales and Secretary of State visited James Cropper to learn how we turn paper fibre including single-use coffee cups into paper products and Colourform(tm) plastic-free packaging. As well as visiting our facility, both principles also joined a group of cross sector experts and UK industry leaders at a Business in the Community roundtable, hosted at the mill, to discuss and learn what more businesses can do to create value from waste.

In addition to paper products, James Cropper also incorporates Technical Fibre Products, manufacturers of non-woven materials from carbon, glass and polymer fibres, which play a key part in production of composites in the automotive, energy and aerospace sectors.

We have a number of Team Leader roles, in Converting & 3DP, Finishing, or Papermaking, where you'll be given the framework and support to hone and develop your skills in driving operational performance.

A key part of these roles will be to lead sustainable improvements in all areas, including safety, quality, cost, delivery and people. The ability to communicate and develop individuals and teams is essential, as well as being able to liaise with key functional areas to develop plans, and provide operational support to customer & supplier visits.
