Salary: Circa GBP50,000 pro-rata, but flexibility depending on experience

This independent creative agency works with tier 1 consumer brands across sectors including FMCG, Health & Beauty and Food & Drink. They have built up longstanding and trusted relationships with brands similar to Dove, Sony, Tampax and Southern Comfort, delivering award winning creative solutions for their clients. This creative social media and digital agency is in a period of growth, winning high profile new clients and expanding their team across a number of areas. As a specialist agency, they are bursting at the seams with creativity, crafting hugely successful and innovative work for their clients across social media, video (they have an in-house production team) digital and media. About the Senior Media Manager role
The new Senior Media Manager will have the remit of driving the agency's media planning offering forwards during the course of the maternity cover contract. The strategic media planning department is a relatively nascent department within this creative agency, fuelled by a desire from existing clients to move social media/digital media buying away from the traditional big agencies.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Media Manager:
* Develop and lead media strategy across the agency
* Oversee innovative and measurable media plans on digital and social channels for clients
* Pitch strategic media plans and approaches to existing and new clients
* Line manage a Digital Media Planner
* Leverage your innovative thinking to lead media innovation across the agency and explore new media partners
You'll have a passion for all things media, coupled with a real desire to do things differently and innovate. Perhaps you've grown tired of the traditional big media agency approach, or perhaps you've been working in another independent agency looking to do things differently.
Skills and experience needed for the Senior Media Manager role:
* 4+ years' experience within digital media strategy, planning and buying for consumer brands
* Strong knowledge of digital and social media channels
