Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst in the South West region. Applications from Somerset, South Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas will be welcomed.
Qualifications & Experience:
Holding the P402/P403/P404 or the equivalent is essential.
Have previous experience in asbestos surveying air-motoring and the asbestos industry.
Be fully conversant with the asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
Must be IT literate.
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Tasks Will Include:
Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.
Supervising asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they follow the correct asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
Collating and producing comprehensive asbestos reports.
Liaising with the company's mixed portfolio of clients on a regular basis.
Attributes:
The successful candidate will be an all-rounder with a positive work attitude.
Be a good team player whilst having the ability to work independently.
