Project Manager - Italian Speaking

This manufacturer of composite components, mouldings and assemblies based in the Chichester area is looking to recruit an Italian speaking Project Manager.

The role of the Project Manager within the company is to manage all aspects of assigned projects from initial concept through to part delivery. This is a customer facing role and the Project Manager will be the main contact for their appointed customers. You will be the link between the company's shop floor and the customer.

As a Project Manager you will be expected to report to the Business manager; either directly or through an appointed liaison. You are also expected to be the main liaison between Design/Technical, Production, Inspection, Purchasing and Administration departments. As well as looking after the finance and quoting side of each project. The key aspects of the role are as follows:

- To agree project responsibilities with each customer before any work is undertaken. Making sure all key aims and deliverables are clearly set out.
- To represent the company's best interests to each customer.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget. With any required changes reported to and agreed with the customer.
- Develop detailed project plans and track project progress.
- To perform risk management as required and highlight any risks to the appropriate parties.
- Effective and proficient use of the companies MRP system.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Develop strong working relationships with each customer assigned to you.
- Make regular visits to each customer assigned to build relationships.
- Review of customer drawings, highlighting any issues that are found to the customer.
- Produce BOM's and Routings as required, using the MRP system.
- Quote each job and agree final prices with the customer.
- As required obtain third party quotes for work that is required to sub contracted. Select output based on price and delivery; In relation to the project.

In addition to the above it is desired that the Project Manager seeks out new customers to help bring the company forward. Expanding the global reach of the company wherever possible.

Should the need arise, you may be required to travel and work away from the company premises, both nationally and internationally. However, this is a project dependant requirement and the role will be based at the company's main site at Fontwell, West Sussex.

- Fluent written and spoken Italian.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or Further Education preferred but not essential.
- Experienced Microsoft user, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of MRP systems.
- Good understanding of Composite materials.
- Excellent understanding of composite manufacturing processes.
- Excellent understanding engineering manufacturing processes.
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
