This company is a dynamic and ambitious Housing Association with around 18,000 homes based in Bedford and operating throughout the Oxford to Cambridge growth corridor. The organisation employs 400 people, has an annual turnover of more than £120m and a development programme that will see it build around 3,000 new homes over the next five years.
This new role provides an excellent opportunity to head up a new records management function under the Data Protection Officer. This is an important position that will lead a team of two Records Management Assistants. The purpose of the team is to review and govern all their paper and electronic document records and help with the company's compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). This role also provides the opportunity to engage with a range of different teams across the business and shape the way we manage our document processes.
Ideally you be a self-starter with high drive and energy, able to use your own initiative and motivate a small team to achieve their goals and and have successfully implemented document/records/data management practices before. Highly planned and organised, you will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable working with teams at different levels.
Ideally you would have a Records Management qualification or equivalent.
This role will be full-time (37 hours per week), however some flexibility on working hours or pattern may be considered.
This role will require a basic DBS check.
