Study Inn has an exciting opportunity available for a Part Time Front of House Receptionist to join our team based in Cambridge. You will work on a part time, permanent basis for 16 hours per week and receive a highly competitive salary of £8.58 per hour.

We are looking for a Part Time Front of House Receptionist who is committed to achieving excellent results. You will be working Saturday – Sunday, 9am – 5pm, a total of 16 hours per week. Our ideal candidate will be able to assist our guests with any queries they may have. This is a hands-on and active role, and you will need to ensure our guests are receiving an excellent service that always exceeds expectations.
Your responsibilities as our Part Time Front of House Receptionist will include:
- Welcoming and interacting with our guests and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or screening inquiries
- Follow our procedures to check a guest in and out
- Liaising with suppliers and contractors as required
- Dealing with problems and emergency situations should they arise
- Maintains security by following procedures, controlling access and monitoring the logbook
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects
- General administrational duties to include, but not limited to; typing, copying, faxing, mailing, making and receiving telephone calls, making bookings
- Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Provide support to the Centre Manager
- Completing show rounds to potential guests
- Supporting our operation admin team in dealing with guest queries
- Organising relevant documents at your Centre, ensuring all are up to date
- Overseeing the post and parcel service at our busiest reception desk
- Any other reasonable request asked of you by your line manager
As our ideal Part Time Front of House Receptionist you will need:
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- Maintain impeccable customer service and attention to detail
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- Discretion and ability to be able to handle confidential matters
- Extremely on-the-ball, highly accurate and efficient
- Be proactive and use initiative
