My client based in Bristol are looking for a Project Controller to provide Project Controls expertise including planning, scheduling and finance/status reporting) in support of project delivery across the entire business.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience:
. Good appreciation of methods and tools for planning, scheduling and controlling engineering projects
. Ability to produce and maintain detailed and accurate level 4 project schedules including management of dependencies between projects
. 3 years experience in designing schedules to allow effective roll-up to higher levels with concise reporting of key milestones and sound critical path analysis
. 2 years experience of project finance reporting and work package management
. Strong IT skills covering all Microsoft Office tools, with advanced ability with MS Excel to analyse cost reports (labour and materials)
. Organised and structured approach with the ability to manage own time effectively while operating across multiple projects and for multiple project managers
. Minimum of APM Project Fundamentals qualification (PFQ) or equivalent
. Recent experience in creating and maintaining complex schedules of over 100 activities in Microsoft project
. Good working knowledge of MS Project Server, including use of enterprise custom fields and data analysis
. Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint for document and data management, ideally with basic administration skills
. Familiarity with management of systems engineering and software development life-cycles/projects, ideally within Defence sector
. Sound understanding of project change management processes and techniques
. Knowledge and application of Risk management processes and techniques
. Knowledge and application of earned value and other monitoring techniques. Knowledge and application of project Quality management techniques. APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ/APMP) or equivalent
