We are recruiting for a full-time Catering Assistant to join our team of dedicated staff who provide an exceptional front of house service.

Catering Assistant
Contract Type: Permanent, full or part time
Hours of Work: 75 hours every two weeks F/T or 16 hours per week P/T
Salary: £16,513 per annum, pro rata (£8.47 per hour)
Based: Cambridge

Working under the direction of the Butler and Hall Supervisors, our Catering Assistants carry out a wide range of tasks within our Servery, Dining Hall and other function rooms. We're proud of our 5 Star hygiene rating, and our reputation for high catering standards, and you will join a friendly and professional front of house team at an exciting time, as we are about to undertake a refurbishment of our Dining Hall and College Bar to improve the facilities offered to our students, staff, and Fellows and expand our conference business.

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a customer-facing role, a smart appearance, good communication skills, and the ability to achieve and maintain high standards of service and hygiene, work in harmony with your colleagues and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Customer service and attention to detail will be at the forefront of everything you do.
