We fund thousands of scientists carrying out more than half the UK's research into heart disease and our fearless work has transformed the impact for the millions of people affected. But with 1 in 4 UK deaths still caused by heart disease, we urgently want to increase the amount of our research and we need to raise more money to do that.

About the role

We are recruiting for a Fundraising Manager to work in the communities of Coventry, Herefordshire, Warwickshire & Worcestershire. Our Community Fundraising team has ambitious targets to help us fund more research and we are investing in our team to help us achieve our goal.

You'll maximise income and awareness for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) within your patch by proactively securing and managing fundraising partnerships with businesses and community organisations. Other key responsibilities include proactively recruiting and developing volunteer fundraising groups and individual volunteers as well as supporting national campaigns and community engagement.

About you

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in securing Corporate Partnerships and fundraising at a community level or strong evidence of transferable experience, for example an outstanding track record in sales or account management. You'll have excellent communication, networking and relationship building skills.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join our ambitious team looking to continue our recent track record of fantastic growth in the Midlands. You'll be working with our inspiring supporters and volunteers on a daily basis, building relationships and empowering people to bring all that they can to our fight against heart disease.

We are looking for people who are as ambitious as we are. We're brave, informed, driven and compassionate in our fight for every heartbeat and, if that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

You will need a full UK driving licence plus previous experience of working remotely. You'll be able to demonstrate an ability to manage and motivate yourself, whilst still working collaboratively with colleagues.

This is a home-based position and we are looking for candidates who live within one of the four areas making up the patch, namely Coventry, Herefordshire, Warwickshire & Worcestershire.
