About Human Resources:

The HR Team in London currently consists of 13 team members working across all 5 practice areas for the whole of the EMEA region on the full remit of HR activities including onboarding, policy and reward, HR systems, training and development, employee relations and HR operations.

About the Role:

We are very excited that FTI is investing in its EMEA L&D function to enable it to deliver a world class service to its internal clients.

This position will report to FTI's Global Learning & Development Leader and EMEA's Human Resource Director and will be responsible for assisting with the design, development, and delivery of FTI's professional development framework and curriculum for all levels and functional areas in EMEA to build the requisite skills for professionals to deliver business results today and in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

The EMEA Region Learning & Development Manager will partner with Global L&D to define needs and partner to design and develop learning programmes for global delivery. The EMEA Region Learning & Development Manager will facilitate learning programmes throughout the EMEA region leveraging the global curriculum comprised of classroom, virtual, e-Learning, assessments and development.

This position will liaise with the Global Learning Operations Team to ensure EMEA is fully leveraging our global tools and processes including a globally consistent evaluation process, FTI's Learning Management System, Learning Navigator, and reporting. EMEA Region Learning & Development Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships with HR Directors in other Global L&D Functions to create learning paths, develop plans to build the capabilities and deliver the FTI Curriculum.

Primary Duties:

Provide input into the global learning strategy and oversee and participate in its effective delivery through the following:

Needs Assessment & Solutioning

Relationship manager working with business segments to understand needs and build solutions

Work with Global L&D to share needs as part of a broader needs assessment

Work with key players in other regions and network with global L&D leaders to address common goals and achieve the global L&D strategy.

Liaise with the business regarding the process and results of quality (QA) programmes, assess risk and continuously improve learning initiatives based on these results

Report on strategic matters at the appropriate level of detail

Support relationship with HR and segment leaders

Instructional Design and Development

Work with Global L&D in the creation of a competency-based curriculum of fundamental, intermediate and advanced courses.

Contribute to the instructional systems design and development of blended learning programmes that meet the demand needs of internal customers in alignment with global priorities.

o Create engaging learning activities, exercises, and compelling course content that enhances the learning process, retention and knowledge transfer.

o Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods.

o Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc).

Employ adult learning principles and innovation strategies

Maintain project documentation and course folders.

Reporting & Metrics

Contribute to criteria used to judge learner's performance and develop assessment instruments

Prepare various reports for firm leaders, including responses to regulatory or legal requests on course performance, approach, duration, topics covered, and future training plans

Learning Delivery

Facilitate Learning & Development programmes for the EMEA region. Conduct train-the-trainer sessions; instruction and delivery of both in-person and virtual classroom

Work independently and be self-directed to accomplish goals and objectives as assigned

In conjunction with the Learning Operations team and the Learning and Development leadership, select vendors and manage relationships and deliverables to optimise learning impact. Guide learning initiatives purchased or created by external vendors.

EMEA Specific Projects

Manage the planning, development, monitoring and delivery of Apprenticeships under the government scheme. Liaise between internal clients and vendors and administer the Digital Apprenticeship Service Account, providing reports to the business

Co-ordinate the EMEA quarterly induction process and work with Human Resources to enhance the onboarding practice

Responsible for the delivery of the annual Graduate Induction now into its second year. Design and facilitate subsequent social, developmental and charity events. Drive the continued development of a cross segment programme, through formal and on-the-job learning opportunities.

Assist Human Resources and the global talent team in the delivery of wider talent Initiatives

Oversee the administration and scheduling of EMEA programmes

Education and Qualifications:

University degree preferred

CIPD or equivalent professional qualification desirable

Accreditation in psychometric testing and analysis

Skills and Competencies:

Excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills

Excellent presentation skills

Expert PowerPoint skills

Intermediate Excel skills

Ability to understand different businesses and business models easily and quickly

Demonstrated ability to work as a team member

Training delivery experience within a Global organisation

Experience leading talent development initiatives and needs assessments to understand learning needs within a professional services environment

Formal development and demonstrated expertise in Instructional Design

Prior vendor management and evaluation experience

Development of blended learning solutions including micro-learning offerings

Demonstrable experience in the design and delivery of curriculum in-person and virtually

LMS experience

E-learning development experience

Request for Proposal (RFP) writing experience
