The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and articulate Recruitment Coordinator to join one of our on-site teams, helping to service one of the world's biggest intelligent business information provider reporting directly to the Account Manager.

The ideal candidate will have some exposure to recruitment, will be motivated to succeed and service this prestigious client but will also have the drive & ambition to own the role and in time take control of one part of the entire recruitment process.

This position is ideal for someone looking to learn and develop their recruitment experience within one of our prestigious key accounts, working at one of the world's largest and most successful mass media and business information firms.

Where: City of London (Cannon Street) & Canary Wharf
Hours: 0900 - 1730 with overtime on occasion
Role type: Permanent

Salary: £22 - £24500 per annum

Recruitment Coordinator will be providing a quality and high touch coordination support, as part of the wider recruitment team. He/she will forge relationships with all parties, including hiring managers as part of the recruitment supply chain. Key areas of responsibility will be around providing general recruitment based coordination, proficiency with dealing with in-house based client systems and specific recruitment systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • To ensure the smooth running of the recruitment administration processes
  • To ensure all payroll is completed on time
  • To ensure all holiday payment requests are completed on time
  • To ensure all administration procedures and processes are fully documented for the team
  • To relieve consultants of as much administration as possible and initiate improvements in systems and processes
  • To work to set time frames for daily and weekly deadlines and have attention to detail
  • To conduct all administration surrounding the recruitment of candidates prior to, during and after engagement/employment

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment process and work closely with the Account Manager and wider recruitment team in making sure all procedures are followed and co-ordination of recruitment is fully covered and under control at all times.
  • Take ownership of all new requirements from hiring managers, asking relevant questions and setting clear timelines for you to follow.
  • Maintain contractor administration, including credit checks and completion of files for Temp/Contractor hires and contractor aftercare
  • Book meeting rooms for yourself and Account Manager, as well as interview rooms for hiring managers
  • Ensure all open roles are advertised both on relevant job boards and the Brook Street website
  • Keep all induction material up-to-date and deliver to new starters
  • Maintain and update all job and applicant trackers on a daily and weekly basis
  • Ensure correct data is maintained in Recruitment Systems and paper files through regular auditing and archiving
  • Assist managers, Account Manager and wider recruitment team with the coordination of interviews and meetings to be set up as required
  • Understanding of and work to all SLAs pertaining to the role
  • Ad hoc projects
