Commercial Lawyer, 2+ PQE

Our enviable client base includes household names in a wide variety of sectors such as chemicals, manufacturing, telecoms, retail and financial institutions. We are building a real reputation for the provision of premium commercial advice that delivers results for both our lawyers who love the work that they do, and for our clients whom we are helping to grow, expand and succeed. We currently have an opportunity for a lawyer to join our highly regarded Commercial Team in Newcastle. Led by Peter Snaith, this collegiate team work on a wide spectrum of work from negotiating large outsourcing deals to drafting smaller supply contracts and everything in between. This variety will provide the building blocks for a great career and allow the successful candidate to ultimately identify and then hone an area of real expertise and further develop their career. You will work with and learn from true leaders in their field, as well as have access to a variety of opportunities to really get to know and understand our clients business from the inside. Secondments and business partnering are absolutely critical to our success. We are interested in hearing from lawyers with broad experience of commercial contracts, IT services agreements, software licensing, cloud outsourcing arrangements, internet and ecommerce issues and/or data protection. If you've got the whole package - a strong academic record, experience gained in the City, in-house or at a large regional firm, good client and team communication skills, excellent drafting skills and can help us deliver pragmatic and concise advice to our clients then we could be the perfect fit.
