We are an agency based in North London who provides staff to residential childcare services in North and parts of East London. We work flexibly with our organisations and also our candidates to ensure the needs of both parties are met. Our residential care services provide therapeutic and practical support to young people generally aged 8-18 who have requirements ranging from EBD to CSE to CLA and much more.
As a company, we pride ourselves in providing the right support to young people together with the organisations we work with to make positive transitions to people's lives.

Typically the young people you will be working with present a wide range of behaviour's, difficulties and coping mechanisms arising from negative life experiences. These may include low self esteem, attachment issues, emotional regulation that can possibly lead to aggression. You will be joining a staff team committed to working in a therapeutic manner as this style of work encourages the young people in your care to develop a sense of resilience, development of self esteem coupled with social and emotional development.

As a residential child care worker you will work closely with the seniors, home management and the families of the children/young women to ensure that their time with the organisations we support can create complete and constructive change in their lives.

You are the type of person who is very professionally disciplined you are able to self manage, you have a great sense of humour and you are able to build raptor with young people allowing them to feel confident and self assured and most importantly to feel that someone cares.

We need someone who is willing to work with young women in residential care, you have a basic understanding of the legal framework applying to residential childcare. You are able to set professional boundaries and maintain them as you understand that consistency will be key to affecting change in the lives of these children. We also need someone with a minimum NVQ/QCF Level 2 qualification in Childcare or related qualification.

As a valued member of field team you will be paid generally between £9 - £10 per hour and will accrue holiday based on your hours worked. You will also have flexibility with your hours so can work when you want to be working rather than based on a rota assigned to you.
