Senior Designer

We are looking for a Senior Designer for a strategic creative consultancy that builds brands and delivers smart and elegant creative solutions.

They are looking for a Senior Designer or Lead Creative who can drive design projects from start to finish whilst liaising with the Creative Director, ultimately creating fantastic design results that deliver against the brief and the agreed brand objectives and who will also oversee more junior designers and freelance designers within the studio.

The Senior Designer will

*work with the client service team to ensure that the highest quality work is produced
*mentor and inspire the junior designers, nurturing their development
*keep abreast of and share trends spotted with other designers and the team
*build relationships with suppliers and to introduce new talent
*assist with the maintenance of case histories for internal and external purposes
*help the Creative Director build a happy, healthy working environment for all, creating a good team spirit
*liaise with the CD to flag and resolve issues as they become apparent
* demonstrate responsibility for the day-to-day design of projects in the studio
*create unique and varied design responses to each brief, whilst meeting the brief
*lead presentations on personal projects
*undertake photo shoots, getting the best results from photographers, stylists and suppliers
*liaise and work with the Finished Art/Production team ensuring that all design projects flow through to print without issues
*ensure that all deadlines are met within the set time
*work with the client service team and CD in a collaborative, holistic manner so that a team understanding of a job is met

This is a conceptual as well as design led role and experience of packaging and brand creation will be a distinct plus.
The agency are based in a beautiful rural location just outside Bath but you will need to be a driver to get there.
