HGV Class 2 Driver

New opportunity not to be missed! Established for over 35 years, our client is now one of the North West’s leading & multi award winning Engineering companies. They are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team based in Darwen and you will receive a competitive salary of £9.18 per hour.

The HGV Class 2 Driver role:

- Undertake local deliveries in an 18 ton vehicle and other vehicles when required.

- Flexible person to undertake local deliveries of steel goods.

- Provide HGV cover within the division.

- Provide holiday cover for vehicles in other departments which may entail various start times, weekend work and/or occasional nights away from home.

- Undertake other duties as and when required

Knowledge, Skills, Experience needed to become their  HGV Class 2 Driver:

- Must have LGV Cat C (HGV 2) licence.

- Must be over 25 for insurance with no more than 6 points.

- Must be flexible and prepared to do night work/work away from home.

- Must be willing to undergo FLT training to assist with loading vehicles.

- Must be willing to undergo HIAB training

HGV Class 2 Driver Working Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm Fri 8am-2pm. 40hr week
