Direct Response Coordinator Position Objective: To provide the Development Department with day-to-day administrative support, with a specific focus on the organisation's operational needs To assist in the preparation, execution, and analysis of PETA and its affiliates' direct mail fundraising campaigns Term of Employment: Full-time Reports to: Senior Direct Marketing Coordinator Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain efficient operation of administrative functions in the department Manage mailing schedules, document storage, and stock control Prepare and update the department's financial and statistical reports Research new fundraising opportunities and technologies to benefit PETA Assist with fundraising for PETA through direct-response marketing Assist in the preparation and creation of PETA's direct mail fundraising campaigns Assist with the preparation and proofreading of fundraising mailings and materials, in addition to conducting background research for mailings Verify and input certain donor data into the membership database, including demographic, membership, and personal information Process Development Department vendor invoices for budget tracking Maintain relationships with and act as the point person for outside vendors Coordinate and maintain departmental archives and mailing samples Set up mobile giving and coordinate the creation of required web pages Assist with other administrative functions in the department, as required Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor Qualifications: Experience of working in a non-profit, fundraising, or marketing environment Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products Proven effective research skills and the ability to synthesise and present information Proven ability to prioritise and handle numerous projects simultaneously Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Willingness and ability to work at weekends occasionally Commitment to the objectives of the organisation Please note that all candidates must have the eligibility to work in the UK.
