Social Care Specialist Trainer

I would like to make you aware of a vacancy I currently have with a group of elderly care homes in the Cornwall region who are currently seeking to employ a permanent full time Social Care Specialist Trainer. Having experience in first aid would be an advantage.
This post will require you to travel to any of their 3 sites in the Truro region.
My client is a group of care homes in Cornwall which include residential and nursing homes for the elderly and specialist homes that cater for dementia, physical and learning disabilities such as Autism and Asperger's Syndrome for example.
Your day is likely to start at 08:30 and end at 16:30, with training starting 09:30 therefore allowing 1 hour for prep. You will deliver the courses and updates on current practice in a classroom environment on site.
As mentioned, this role will suit either an experienced trainer seeking to continue in their field or someone that is looking to make the transition from hands-on care to training as they will assist in you gaining your training qualifications.
Minimum requirements for this post are:
- Need to be car driver.
- Care experience (residential or domiciliary).
- Teaching qualification but unqualified applicants will be considered.
FTE Salary will be in the region of GBP22,500 and generous holiday allowance plus bank holidays. As there will be travel, you will be reimbursed at 45p per mile.
