Currently, we’re launching an exciting new programme called the Commonwealth Standards Network (CSN). This programme aims to encourage the use of standards throughout the Commonwealth which in turn, will increase the volume of intra Commonwealth trade.   

This is a brilliant opportunity to join us on a two year contract as a Project Manager and play a vital role in the delivery of this programme.

We’re based just above Gunnersbury Tube Station, making for an easy commute, or you can use our free on-site parking if you’d prefer to drive.  

The Role:  

As the Project Manager, you’ll increase the usage of standards across the Commonwealth. 

In this key role, you’ll build relationships with key contacts throughout the Commonwealth, including national standards bodies, business organisations, government and a range of key stakeholders. 

You will embed and deliver the CSN, which will provide a platform for shared good practice and developmental support.  

Specifically, your duties will involve:  

- Supporting the establishment of the CSN and its online portal  
- Managing the delivery of training programmes and workshops to national standards bodies and key stakeholders in ODA eligible Commonwealth countries 
- Supporting the delivery of three technical assistance programmes in ODA eligible Commonwealth countries 
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and understanding their needs 
- Managing delivery partners  
- Occasionally travelling to international locations   

About You:  

To join us as a Project Manager, you’ll need:  

- Strong project management experience and skills  
- Experience of managing project budgets
- Experience of global stakeholder management and engagement  
- Strong writing and editorial skills  
- Sound research and analytical skills  
- A degree level qualification in economics, international development, management or a related field  
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
