I am recruiting for 2 administration assistants for a well known and public sector client based in Rotherham (S66 1YY). These are temporary full time contracts (37 hours per week) with a view to be extended with a hourly pay rate of £9.
The duties will include:
- The post holder will work as part of a team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the region/local area.
- In particular the post holder will provide and coordinate administrative and secretarial services; including for example, arranging meetings, the preparation and distribution of agendas and minutes, recording appropriate follow-up actions as required.
- To support the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquires as and when is necessary for the head of department, teams and the department.
- The post requires flexibility as the post holder will be expected to work off site, i. presence at external meetings and recording minutes.
- The job description and person specification are an outline of the tasks, responsibilities and outcomes required of the role.
- The job holder will carry out other duties as may reasonably be required by their line Manager.
The ideal candidate:
- will have extensive administration experience
- professional work manner
- minute taking experience
- diary management
- data inputting
- as the role requires potential hot desking in another site, driving would be advantageous
