Health & Safety / CDM Advisor
Carriera has been retained by a prolific consultancy in order to secure a Health and Safety / CDM advisor for their team in London.
The business offers a full range of Construction Consultancy services globally. They work with a variety of clients who own, occupy, manage or develop Commercial, Educational, Health, Infrastructure, Leisure, Pharmaceutical, Residential or Retail assets.
This position has been created due to the continued successes of existing clients and recent win of new projects.
Their London Office is around 60 strong, comprised of Quantity Surveyors, Project managers, Building Surveyors, Structural Engineers and Health & Safety Consultants.
You will join a handful of CDM professionals, with a combined 40 years of experience across H&S. The role will require for you to assist in the support and delivery of CDM services, Carrying out the function of the Principal Designer under the CDM regulations. You will be required to monitor the designer's compliance, with their duties under the CDM regulations and also undertake site inspections and monitoring visits.
You will be involved with project, design and other meetings supporting the senior members as required working to deadlines and ensuring projects are completed effectively and efficiently.
The individual will have experience and a clear understanding of the CDMC role. Ideally, you will have a degree, certificate or diploma in a construction related subject. You will be professional, well grounded, technically competent and have a charismatic personality.
It is essential you are looking to develop both professionally and academically, be proactive and have a willingness to perform to the best of your ability. Qualifications via APS and/or NEBOSH are an advantage however not essential.
