An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated service coordinator to manage and lead a small team.
You will be working for a excellent provider in mental health and learning disabilities rehabilitation and recovery specializing in supporting people with high and complex needs, they work with people with mental health, substance misuse and other complex needs to achieve their ambitions and potential.
As Service Coordinator of the Learning Disabilities, Supported Living service you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high quality, responsive and person-centred care service. You`ll regularly complete any risk assessments where required to make sure customers are fully supported.
Supervising staff across the service, you`ll monitor staff performance, complete regular 1:1`s and carry out performance management where required. You will also be responsible for creating effective staff rotas, you will make recommendations for developing the care service and ensuring service standards, policies and procedures and for making sure these are in line with contract requirements.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate managerial skills and be able to effectively manage complex situations. You will support your staff team on a daily basis to ensure they are comprehensively trained and debriefed effectively in delivery of the service.
You will be a qualified care professional with previous experience of staff management in a similar care service/environment with a good knowledge and understanding of Learning Disabilities and social care legislation. You`ll be a natural leader with the ability to motivate and develop your team members.
This is a full-time position with a salary of up to £17,016 with increments to salary and excellent benefits, progression and development. You must be flexible to meet the service needs.
