Job Title: Warehouse Assistant/Operative

Location: Hayes, Middlesex

Salary: £13,000 - £17,000 Dependent on Experience

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (8 until 6pm Monday to Friday)

The Company is a family run, independent distributor in West London, offering a comprehensive range of fire, PA/VA and security & CCTV products and services, all under one roof.

As part of their ongoing growth plan, they're seeking to broaden their warehouse team through the appointment of one hardworking and enthusiastic Warehouse Operatives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude to contribute to the success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack orders.
• Accept goods delivery and stock shelves
• Organise shelves and maintain cleanliness of the warehouse/Trade counter
• Assist sales staff with stock checks
• Data entry and stock management is also an essential part of the role.
• Build HDD into DVR Recorders
• Test returned equipment and process returns

Essential Experience/Background:

• Maths and English at GCSE grade C (or equivalent)
• A willingness to learn and be part of a friendly, dedicated and hardworking team
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Strong communication and team working skills
• Applicants with knowledge of fire, sound, security and CCTV will have a distinct advantage
