We have an exciting opportunity available for a Head of Human Resources to join the team based in Southampton. You will be on a full time OR part time, permanent contract working up to 37.5 hours per week and will receive a competitive salary of £37,370 - £45,248 per annum!

We are looking to appoint a Head of Human Resources to develop, operationalise and implement HR strategies, aligned with the overall business strategy. This is a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to help shape the HR team and in turn, the organisation as a whole.

Skills and Experience required by our Head of Human Resources:

- Have experience in strategic planning, coaching and mentoring, developing talent management processes and successful implementation of HR policies and practices, providing advice and guidance on workforce issues where necessary. This is to include turning strategic objectives into workable structures to improve and maintain consistent quality improvement.

- Be a strong communicator and have proven experience in the development of effective internal communication processes, employee engagement strategies and organisational culture. Being able to evidence high levels of customer relations between HR, external bodies and the workforce through the provision of professional and commercially focused advice to line management and employees is highly desirable.

- Have experience in developing and sustaining high performance for senior management (Managers, HODs and Directors) within the relevant business areas through the provision of HR guidance, coaching, support and professional development to effectively achieve and efficiently maintain success.

- Gradate calibre with a 2:1 or above (or qualified by experience) and be CIPD Qualified to Level 7 or higher
